Alma Cottage is situated in the beautiful village of Winterborne Houghton with views and access to open fields at the back.
The 2 upstairs bedrooms face South – one with a large double bed and the second with single or twin beds, there is an occasional sofa bed in the sitting room and a cot is available if needed.
The immediate countryside surrounding Winterborne Houghton is charming offering lovely views, walks, and a wealth of good pubs and restaurants. The village is 3 miles from the well known picturesque village of Milton Abbas, the Georgian market town of Blandford Forum is 6 miles to the East and Dorchester is approximately 15 miles to the West. Within 25 miles lay Bournemouth and Poole, Poole Harbour being one of the biggest natural harbours in the world offering good inland sailing and boat trips to the Brownsea Island. Sandbanks and Studland Beaches are popular with views of the Isle of Wight. The Purbecks and beautiful Jurassic coastline are easily accessible and there are many interesting National Trust attractions close by. The cottage is available for Summer and weekend lets on a weekly basis |
